Capsicum baccatum. 90 days. A very productive pepper hailing from Brazil. Plants may reach 5-6 feet tall in good fertile soil and produce abundant yields of ¾" long by 1" wide tomato or pumpkin shaped hot peppers that start dark green and ripen to red-dark red. Our original seed stock was brought back from Bahia, Brazil by our dear friend Olivia Hartman. The delicious fruits make excellent salsa and also keep well for a relative period of time. Featured in William Woy Weaver's latest book The Roughwood Book of Pickling! ~40-50 seeds per pack.
