Phaseolus vulgaris. 60-70 days. Historically, there were a number of dwarf or bush versions of "caseknife beans, particularly in Germany and Italy. One of the German varieties cultivated today is Pfälzer Juni. Developed in the German Rhineland, this classic stringless bush bean with snowy white seeds is ideal for soups, or as a snap bean in pickles or cooked with ham. It is one of the earliest bush beans to crop, allowing about 60 days to maturity. Plant in 2-week successions for beans all summer!
