C. chinense. A very rare and productive yellow pepper from the North coast of Peru. This is the pepper that is portrayed upon the ancient pottery of the Nazca and Moche/Mochicha Civilization that inhabited the Peruvian coast from 100-700 A.D. Used as a spice for various dishes and for hot chocolate! Packed with heat, more than a habanero, but is very floral and fruity. ~15-20 seeds per packet.
